EGM-DPÜ 5

The EGM-DPÜ is a three-phase bus voltage monitoring module designed for undervoltage supervision in general power distribution systems. It has been specifically developed for use in emergency lighting installations and enables monitoring of three-phase power networks as well as evaluation of switching states.

The module continuously monitors a three-phase power supply and detects voltage deviations or power failures within defined tolerance ranges. Adjustable response times allow the monitoring behavior to be adapted to different project requirements and operating conditions.

In addition, the device is used for switch monitoring. This enables coordinated switching of emergency lighting and general lighting, allowing both systems to operate according to a unified lighting control strategy within a building.

Integration is achieved via a bus connection, allowing multiple modules to communicate within the same system. DIN rail mounting supports structured installation inside electrical distribution cabinets and technical control panels.

For planners, the EGM-DPÜ provides a reliable solution for power supply monitoring within emergency lighting systems. Installers benefit from straightforward installation and flexible parameter configuration.

  • three-phase monitoring enables supervision of three-phase power networks
  • undervoltage monitoring enables early detection of power supply failures
  • adjustable response times enable adaptation to project-specific requirements
  • switch monitoring enables coordinated control of emergency and general lighting
  • bus connectivity enables integration of multiple modules within a single system
  • the modular structure enables expansion of larger system architectures
  • flexible input assignment enables adaptation to different signal configurations
  • DIN rail mounting simplifies installation within distribution cabinets

The EGM-DPÜ supports the integration of three-phase power monitoring into emergency lighting systems. This allows complex electrical infrastructures to be monitored reliably while ensuring that emergency lighting functions respond appropriately to power disturbances.

The combination of voltage monitoring and switch monitoring supports comprehensive lighting control strategies. Adjustable parameters provide additional flexibility for adapting system behavior to specific project requirements.

Thanks to its bus-based architecture, the module can be scaled and integrated into larger installations. Since the device is installed inside electrical distribution cabinets, it remains completely hidden from view and has no impact on architectural design. DIN rail installation follows standard electrical installation practices and supports structured wiring of all three phases and associated switching inputs.

Configurable response times and input assignments simplify commissioning and allow adaptation to the specific application. Multiple modules can be connected through the bus network, while the combination of voltage monitoring and switch monitoring reduces the need for additional components. For installers, this means faster installation and reduced coordination effort.
