EM8D

The EM8D input module is designed for acquiring digital signals within emergency lighting systems. With eight digital inputs, it can capture a variety of switching and status signals and integrate them into the central system controller. This allows external notifications and operational signals to be collected centrally and processed within the emergency lighting infrastructure.

The inputs can be configured as current loop inputs using a 1.5 kΩ terminating resistor. This makes the module suitable for applications where reliable monitoring of signal states is required. Bus connectivity enables communication with compatible systems and supports seamless integration into existing emergency lighting architectures.

Its compact design, requiring only three modular units, allows space-saving installation within electrical distribution cabinets. DIN rail mounting supports straightforward integration into technical rooms, switchboards and control panels.

The EM8D is intended for use with CPS SibeProfi Lean, CPS SibeProfi and CPS SibeProfi E30 systems, extending these installations with additional digital inputs for customized monitoring and control applications.

  • eight digital inputs enable monitoring of multiple signal states within a single system
  • current loop input capability supports a variety of monitoring concepts
  • centralized processing of input signals simplifies system control
  • bus connectivity enables integration into existing emergency lighting systems
  • the compact design reduces space requirements within distribution cabinets
  • DIN rail mounting simplifies installation in electrical distributions
  • additional input capacity enables flexible adaptation to project requirements
  • signal monitoring supports structured control and notification systems

The EM8D input module supports the expansion of emergency lighting systems with additional digital signal sources. This enables external notifications, switching states and monitoring functions to be integrated into the central system logic. The ability to operate as a current loop input further expands its application possibilities across different safety and control concepts.

Its compact design simplifies integration into existing electrical distribution systems and supports space-efficient installation concepts. At the same time, bus communication enables structured integration into established system architectures.

The EM8D is designed for DIN rail mounting and occupies only three modular units, making it ideal for installations where cabinet space is limited. Its compact construction facilitates integration even in densely populated distribution systems.

The eight digital inputs allow monitoring of a wide range of switching and status signals. Through optional current loop operation, the module can be adapted to different project requirements. Bus connectivity supports structured integration into compatible emergency lighting systems and simplifies the addition of further monitoring functions.
