Customised Safety for the New Dresden Administration Centre
The new Dresden Administration Centre is equipped with modern emergency lighting and backup power technology to ensure reliable guidance and maximum operational safety. A high-performance central battery system with more than 100 circuits was installed for the building, providing a reliable power supply from both the battery system and the backup generator in the event of an emergency.
More Than 1,100 Light Points for Safe Guidance
More than 1,100 light points provide reliable illumination throughout the administration centre, helping to ensure that escape and rescue routes remain clearly visible at all times. A particularly interesting feature is that the luminaires were manufactured in custom colours, allowing them to blend seamlessly with the building's architectural design.
The project successfully combines technical safety with a high standard of architectural design.
Wall Mounting
The exit sign luminaire was installed as a surface-mounted wall fixture above the doorway. Its clearly visible position ensures that the escape route can be identified from a greater distance while blending harmoniously into the building's architectural design.
Wall Bracket Mounting
The wall-mounted bracket luminaire was installed on the side of a wall structure, projecting into the walkway. This positioning ensures that the exit sign remains clearly visible from different viewing angles, providing early orientation in open areas of the building.
High-Performance Backup Power Supply
At the heart of the backup power supply is a 450 kVA standby generator integrated directly into the building. It ensures that critical systems continue to operate reliably even in the event of a failure of the main power supply.
Together with the central battery system, this creates a robust safety concept tailored to the specific requirements of the administration centre.
Ceiling Mounting
The surface-mounted ceiling luminaire is installed centrally above the escape route, providing continuous exit signage along the entire corridor. Its elevated mounting position ensures that the exit sign remains clearly visible even over longer distances.
Custom Mounting
The exit sign luminaire was mounted directly onto the door frame of the emergency exit and adapted to the building's structural requirements. This custom mounting solution provides clear identification of the escape route, even where a conventional wall or ceiling installation is not feasible or practical.
Customised Safety for Modern Buildings
The project demonstrates how versatile modern emergency lighting solutions can be today: powerful, reliable, and individually tailored to the specific requirements of the building.
With our solution, we make an important contribution to the safe operation of the new Dresden Administration Centre—every day, and especially when it matters most.
