IOe230-S

The IOe230-S is an input/output module designed to expand emergency lighting systems by enabling mains voltage monitoring and control of external functions. It acts as an interface between the electrical installation and the emergency lighting system.

Each of the eight inputs can monitor a 230 V mains voltage signal. This allows the status of light switches, circuit breakers, or other electrical signals to be monitored and evaluated reliably. At the same time, three digital outputs with potential-free changeover contacts are available for transmitting external signals or implementing control functions.

The outputs are freely configurable, allowing flexible adaptation to project-specific requirements. Two address selectors assign a unique address to each module, ensuring structured integration within the overall system architecture.

DIN rail mounting supports straightforward integration into existing distribution boards. LED indicators for inputs, outputs, bus communication, and fault conditions enable fast on-site diagnostics and simplify maintenance procedures.

For planners, the IOe230-S provides a flexible solution for status monitoring and signal transmission. Installers benefit from a clearly structured connection concept and simplified commissioning.

  • 230 V monitoring enables reliable detection of mains voltage conditions.
  • Eight inputs enable integration of multiple signal sources.
  • Potential-free outputs enable flexible control of external functions.
  • Free configurability enables project-specific customization.
  • Addressing functionality enables clear identification within the system.
  • LED indicators enable rapid on-site diagnostics.
  • DIN rail mounting enables easy integration into distribution boards.
  • The structured system architecture reduces planning and installation effort.

The IOe230-S enables structured integration of external signals into emergency lighting systems and supports the planning of advanced safety concepts. By monitoring mains voltage conditions, relevant information such as switching states or circuit breaker status can be captured and processed efficiently.

The combination of input monitoring and output control enables flexible system expansion within existing installations. This allows different project requirements to be implemented without additional complexity.

As the module is installed within the electrical distribution system, it has no impact on architectural design and remains completely integrated within the technical infrastructure.

The IOe230-S is designed for DIN rail mounting and complies with common installation standards, allowing easy integration into existing electrical distribution boards.

The clearly structured connection layout simplifies wiring of both inputs and outputs while reducing potential installation errors. The addressing capability ensures each module can be uniquely identified within the system.

LED indicators for inputs, outputs, bus status, and fault conditions support commissioning and enable rapid verification of correct operation. For installers, this means efficient implementation, simplified troubleshooting, and reduced coordination effort.
