The functional unit for CPS smart XL is designed for the protected accommodation of electrical safety systems required by building regulations within safety-relevant building infrastructures. The construction supports upright installation on solid ceilings as well as mounting on fire-retardant solid and stud walls or free-standing installation in combination with an additional rear panel according to MLAR 5.2.2c.

The modular plug-and-play system enables project-specific configurations with matching accessories and supports structured integration of technical safety systems. The enclosure consists mainly of non-combustible building materials and includes an all-round multiple sealing system with smoke protection and fire protection seals.

The diagonal internal ventilation through supply and exhaust air openings supports controlled airflow inside the enclosure. At the same time, cable entry across the entire internal width enables flexible cable routing for bundled or individual cable entries.

The robust enclosure construction with chemically resistant surface, integrated plinth and reversible door hinge supports installation-friendly integration within technical rooms and safety-relevant areas.

The reduced and functional enclosure design enables technical integration within safety and equipment rooms without requiring complex additional constructions. At the same time, the E30 version, smoke protection seals and construction mainly consisting of non-combustible materials support implementation of safety-relevant planning concepts according to MLAR.
