LPS smart2 S

The LPS smart2 S is an emergency lighting power supply system designed to supply emergency luminaires within a fire compartment and complies with the requirements of DIN EN 50171. Its power-limited design makes the system suitable for clearly defined supply areas within buildings.

The system enables individual switching of emergency luminaires during normal mains operation, allowing targeted control of individual luminaires. At the same time, integrated circuit and individual luminaire monitoring provides transparent supervision of the installation and supports structured fault localization.

An integrated color touchscreen display enables operation and visualization directly at the device. Multiple systems can be networked via Ethernet (TCP/IP) and the integrated Modbus interface, allowing seamless integration into higher-level monitoring and building management systems.

With an optional fire-resistant enclosure, the device can also be used across multiple fire compartments. Wall-mounted installation within technical service areas enables clear integration into modern building infrastructures.

For planners, the LPS smart2 S provides a decentralized solution with a structured system architecture. Installers benefit from organized installation processes and integrated monitoring functions.

  • Decentralized power supply enables installation within individual fire compartments.
  • Individual luminaire switching enables targeted control of specific luminaires.
  • Circuit monitoring enables transparent supervision of the installation.
  • Individual luminaire monitoring enables precise fault localization.
  • Networking capability enables integration of multiple systems.
  • Modbus and TCP/IP interfaces enable integration into building management infrastructures.
  • Touchscreen operation enables intuitive system control.
  • Flexible expansion options enable deployment across multiple fire compartments.

The LPS smart2 S supports the planning of decentralized emergency lighting systems within clearly defined fire compartments. This allows buildings to be divided into manageable supply zones, supporting a structured and transparent planning approach.

The combination of monitoring functions and networking capability enables clear visualization of system conditions and operational status. At the same time, integration into higher-level systems allows centralized monitoring and evaluation of multiple installations.

As the system is installed within technical service areas, it remains outside visible architectural spaces and has no impact on building design.

The LPS smart2 S is designed for wall-mounted installation and meets common requirements for technical rooms and decentralized emergency lighting systems. This allows straightforward integration into existing electrical infrastructures and distribution systems.

The structured system architecture simplifies wiring and helps reduce installation errors. Integrated monitoring functions allow operational performance and system status to be verified directly during commissioning.

The touchscreen display supports commissioning and enables rapid system monitoring and control. For installers, this means efficient implementation, simplified troubleshooting, and reduced coordination effort throughout the project.
